Here’s one from the Summer I spent at Mt. Hood working for Windell’s in 2004 during the Burton Abominable Snow Jam quarter pipe competition. It was a super fun comp to shoot and I’ve never seen people blast that big out of a QP. Watching Andy Finch blast out of that thing was amazing. Anyways, to continue the post processing kick I’ve been on I decided to give this one a punchy crossed processed look with the clouds, dirt in the foreground and dirty snow on the wall of the quarter pipe. This photo is of Keir Dillon at the High Cascade Snowboard Camp quarterpipe during the Summer of 2004.

So now I’m digging real deep…going down to 2003 for these! Back in the day when I took a lot more scenics. Anyways I’ve been on a toning kick, doing a lot of toning to a lot of my recent shots so I thought I’d try it on this series of photos I took back in 03′ during the Fall at Guardsman Pass between Park City and Brighton. I always liked a lot of these shots but they just seemed to be missing something, but I think I found out what that was last night. I needed to bring out the texture in these and I think I got it.
